Orchid

Orchids are my absolute favorite flower. I have one in my bedroom at home, and I even have one in my dorm. I think they have a sense of tranquility which is very relaxing to come home to everyday.

I found this in an alley on Main Street when I was shooting for my design class. I thought it was interesting in a solitary kind of way. And it reminded me of my bike that got stolen. :(

Solipsism

Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park.

This skate park is right on the beach and is an awesome spot to get action shots. One of the best parts of the park is the huge concrete fishbowl in the ground. And in case my extremely technical term "fishbowl" is not understandable, it's basically an empty amoeba shaped swimming pool which, if used correctly, can give photos an authentic Dogtown/ Z-Boys tone.

Film photography, darkroom processed. Shot at an 800 ISO, which explains the graininess. Although, the noise gives it an aged appeal, making it seem like it's a surf shot from the 70's.

Tiles For America was started on September 12, 2001 to honor the victims of 9/11 and all who were effected. Now, 7 years later, the beautiful collection of ceramic tiles lends not only as a memorial, but also as a unique display of public art.

Prince Charming

This was taken near a creek at the Cape May Zoo. I was standing on a bridge over the creek and used my zoom lens to get up close and personal with this beautiful creature.

Train Spotting

This is a photograph of my friend at the Secaucus train station in New Jersey.  We were waiting for a connecting train to take us to Liberty State Park in Jersey City to attend the All Points West Festival.  The festival was a three day concert series featuring a bunch of different bands/musical artists that came together to celebrate music, art, and the environment.
